A rough sketch can communicate a layout while a photograph explains a surface or light source. In Seedream 4.0, use GPT Image 2.5 to explore how those visual ingredients might work together. Begin with a small draft, inspect the result, and choose the resolution for each subsequent request.
Choose the part of your image you want to investigate before adding more detail.
Describe the focal point, negative space and foreground/background relationship. A sketch can give those instructions visual context.
Name the finish you want to try: brushed metal, rough linen or glazed ceramic. Use a close-up reference to explain the intended texture.
Describe the source, softness and shadow direction. Evaluate whether the generated image follows the lighting brief, especially where objects meet the ground.
GPT Image 2.5 is selectable alongside the site’s existing image models. Its Flare and Sunburst versions use their own settings: up to sixteen reference images, one generated image per request, and 1K, 2K or 4K output. Selecting this model does not change the settings or prices of other models.
Use a sketch for spatial arrangement and a photograph for a particular material or mood. In the prompt, explain what each reference contributes. These inputs guide generation; they are not exact layout constraints or a guarantee of physically accurate rendering.
For example: does the open space belong above the object or to its left?
Inspect edges, surface detail and lighting transitions, then describe the next change.
Resolution and framing are choices for each request, so budget for the iterations you need.
Select a square, portrait or landscape ratio before generating. The same aspect-ratio choices remain available at 4K.
1K is 3 credits, 2K is 5, and 4K is 7. A later 4K request is a new generation, rather than a free conversion of a previous draft.

Upload a simple layout sketch as image 1. Choose Flare, 1K and 3:4. Prompt: "Use image 1 as a rough composition guide. Place one folded paper sculpture in the lower half of a warm off-white poster. Keep the upper third clear for a headline that I will add later. Use subtle shadows and two muted accent colors. Do not draw text or logos." Check the open space and crop before trying a higher-resolution request.
Upload a photograph of a plain side table as image 1 and a walnut close-up as image 2. Choose 2K and 4:3. Prompt: "Use the table arrangement from image 1. Explore a matte walnut surface informed by image 2. Light the scene from a low window on the left, with a long soft shadow to the right. Keep the background plain and show the entire tabletop." Inspect wood direction and edge transitions; request another version if those details need work.
Separate the creative brief from the checks needed for delivery.
Upload the sketch, object photo or texture you need. Number their roles in a written prompt; a prompt is required with every request.
Select Flare or Sunburst, a resolution and a ratio. Both versions share the 3/5/7 credit scale; reference images have no extra input charge.
Generate one image and check its composition and details. Before printing, verify the downloaded pixel dimensions, crop and color handling in your design application.
Practical limits for planning image studies.

A sketch supplies visual guidance. Explain which positions and proportions matter, then compare the result with the sketch. Exact geometry is not guaranteed.
4K is an output resolution option. Confirm actual pixel dimensions and the intended print size after download, and perform your normal crop, color and production checks.
Each request generates one image. To explore another material or light direction, submit a new request with an updated prompt and account for its credit cost.
Auto plus 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 5:4, 4:5 and 21:9 are available at all three resolutions.
A confirmed generation failure refunds the full charge. If the task is pending or the status service is temporarily unavailable, check it again or use My Creations. A submitted request cannot be cancelled.
